"Au Sommet du Fjord is the story of one man's love for his little piece of the world"

Au Sommet du Fjord was the creation of Benoit, a man determined to buy and rebuild the house and land of his childhood.

The current main chalet and hostel have been renovated after being originally built by Benoit's father.

Today whilst breathing new, exuberant life back into the property, they have also preserved the original heritage.

Julie Christina, a visual artist and artistic director in her own right, came along a few years later.

She has helped create the property's uniqueness and beauty.

At Au Sommet du Fjord you feel a sense of community and harmony with nature. Within all the wooden buildings, Julie and Benoit have used furnishings they have gathered from their world travels, creating a very warm and inviting atmosphere that one feels almost immediately they arrive.
